Why fleets still struggle

The cost of how it’s done today

Paper job checklists are completed inconsistently, filed loosely, and impossible to prove against the specific job they belonged to.

The traditional approach

Printed checklists per job, filed in a folder if at all, with no link between the steps and the maintenance record they were meant to control.

Monday with WaterTight

What changes when this is under control

Reusable checklist templates attached to PMS job types, completed during execution on ship or shore, and retained immutably as part of the job history.

Time back

One template covers every recurrence of a job, so crews never rebuild the steps and shore never re-files paper.

Less waste

Governed fleet templates replace per-vessel reprints and keep every sister ship working to the same standard.

Lower risk

Required items must be completed and are locked to the job record, giving auditors proof the correct steps were followed.

Questions before you commit

Do job checklists work offline?
Yes. Checklist completion is queued offline with the job and syncs on reconnect.
Are these the same as safety checklists?
No. Job checklists live under planned maintenance and attach to jobs. Safety checklists are a separate module with their own permissions and audit trail.
Can required items be skipped?
Required items must be completed (or marked N/A with a reason where allowed) before the job can be signed off.
Can a template be reused across the fleet?
Yes. Templates can be shared as fleet standards so the same job is executed identically on every vessel.

Bring this pain to a demo

We’ll walk job checklists for Technical Superintendent and Chief Engineer on a sample vessel — so you can judge the fit, not sit through a feature tour.
