Can crew request leave themselves?
Yes. Crew submit leave on the mobile app and managers approve on the dashboard, with balances updating automatically.
How does leave interact with crewing?
Approved leave overlays on the vessel calendar so planners can see coverage and plan reliefs. Entitlements support calendar and rolling periods, RDO, mid-year proration, and leaver settlement.
Can line managers run appraisals on the vessel?
Yes. My Vessel team appraisals let line managers record performance against company templates; HR still owns cycle assignment and the vault.
Where are HR documents kept?
Handbooks, acknowledgements, and personal documents are stored in the HR vault with appropriate access controls.
