Questions before you commit
Is this the same as PMS job checklists?
No. Safety checklists are a separate module with their own permissions, retention, and audit trail. PMS job checklists live under planned maintenance.
Who can edit checklist structure?
Users with safety_manage build templates. Structural or fleet changes use checklists_manage via change proposals. Others with safety write can complete only.
Can I edit a template to fix an old completion?
No. Completed records are immutable. Template changes apply to new completions after the proposal is effective.
Does this work fully offline?
The safety checklists page is web-focused. For offline rounds, use zone inspections or master’s weekly rounds on the crew app.
